LakePAWse was founded by Josi Seixas, a veterinarian, educator, and lifelong animal lover originally from Brazil. She holds both a Master’s and PhD in Veterinary Medicine and brings over 20 years of experience in animal health, behavior, and welfare. Her journey through research, teaching, and hands-on care has shaped a deep understanding of the unique needs of dogs—especially those who require a more gentle, attentive approach.

At its heart, LakePAWse is more than a brand—it is a reflection of faith, purpose, and love. Josi is a Christian, a mom, and an entrepreneur who believes in living out the calling to love others and honor God in all things. She sees animals as part of God’s beautiful creation, entrusted to us to care for with compassion, patience, and intention.
