How It Works - 4 Steps
At LakePAWse, we built something that did not exist here yet: a dog daycare designed specifically around how small dogs actually think, feel, and behave.
Most small dogs are not just miniature versions of big dogs. They have different stress responses, different social needs, and different ways of showing that something is wrong. A chaotic environment that a Lab shrugs off can genuinely overwhelm a Chihuahua or a senior Maltese.
We designed this facility -- the layout, the routine, the environment, the team -- to match how small dogs work. Calm is not our aesthetic. It is our operating system.

Create your account
You found us! Now, create an account. We will learn about your dog -- their routine, their quirks, what they love, what stresses them out. This helps us figure out if LakePAWse is the right fit and which CLUB is right for them

Schedule a visit
Let’s schedule a Meet & Greet and one Quick PAWse (4 hours). Your dog comes in and meets us and the group one at a time, slowly and safely. We watch how they respond and how the group responds to them. No dog joins the pack without this step.

Bring your dog
Drop-off day. Bring their food (maybe diapers – if not fully potty trained or excessive marking was a problem during meet and greet or first visit). That is all. We have the beds, the enrichment, the hygiene supplies, the routine, and the team. You go about your day knowing exactly what is happening -- we send photos and updates through your Time To Pet portal.

Enjoy your day
While you are going about your busy routine, your dog is having a blast or just resting or enjoying our company. When you are ready, come for their pickup. Your dog comes home calm, clean, and genuinely tired in the right way -- because they had a real day, not just a busy one.

Home-Style Dog Daycare
Small dogs only. Real care. A routine that makes sense.

Admission Requirements
LakePAWse may refuse or discontinue service at its sole discretion for safety or operational reasons. This is not a one-size-fits-all facility, and we take group compatibility seriously.
🐾 Age and Weight
Your dog must be at least 6 months old
Small breeds only -- 25 lbs and under (exceptions only at LakePAWse's sole discretion)
🐾 Health and Behaviour
Reasonably healthy and free of contagious illness at time of serviceTemperament evaluation completed before joining any group (required for all new dogs)
Safely manageable without uncontrolled aggression or behavior that endangers other dogs or staff
🐾 Vaccination Checklist
✅ Rabies - Required by law in Georgia
✅ DHPP - Full series completed, current and verified
✅ Bordetella - For Kennel cough - strongly recommended
✅ Canine Influenza vaccination recommended
📅 Vaccines should be completed at least 7 days before any visit to allow full protection.
